Working with me

is a collaborative experience. I like to think of it as a road trip. You’re in the driver’s seat. I’m in the passenger seat, helping navigate. You tell me what you’re seeing. What feels confusing. What feels overwhelming. What feels stuck. And together, we figure out where you actually want to go. Sometimes we’ll take a left into childhood, family dynamics, and old stories that shaped you. Sometimes we’ll take a right into present-day tools, boundaries, communication skills, and routines.

You’re the expert in your life, what has worked, what hasn’t and what is important to you now. I bring my psych knowledge, tools, and experience with clients. When we combine these. We can get you where you want to go. People say education is power and I agree, but information alone is useless. When I use my education, it’s not to lecture, instead it’s to empower you to challenge you to integrate it. Once you understand what’s happening in your mind and body, you’re not just reacting anymore. You’re choosing. Sometimes I’ll challenge you. Sometimes you’ll challenge me. That’s part of real collaboration. When I work with someone I’m committed to this process with you. I’ll show up fully, adapt to who you are, and push you compassionately toward growth. You don’t have to do this alone. Let’s take this road trip together.

Internal Family Systems (IFS)

We all have different parts of ourselves that help us navigate life. By learning about the intentions behind our thoughts and actions, we become better equipped to honor our authentic selves and cultivate inner harmony. I use various linguistic and body-based practices to help you develop curiosity and compassion toward parts that might feel overworked, misunderstood, or wounded.

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)

Our thoughts and emotions can lead us to struggle against or avoid what truly matters to us. Sometimes, we end up caught in exhausting arguments with our own thoughts. Together, we’ll learn how to relate to your thoughts differently without getting stuck in them. This creates the freedom to take meaningful action toward what’s important to you, even when difficult emotions are present.

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)

Developing mastery in DBT principles allows us to hold our emotions, relationships, and stress without burnout or feeling overwhelmed. Together, we’ll build skills in mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotion regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness until they become natural responses to life’s challenges.

Relational Therapy

Our relationships, past and present, shape how we see ourselves and move through the world. We explore the patterns and impacts of these dynamics to help you build deeper, more fulfilling connections with others and yourself. Whether it’s attachment wounds, trust issues, or seeking to understand unmet needs this approach offers insight, healing, and growth.

Narrative Therapy

Our stories and how we tell them reflect our inner and outer worlds. This approach asks us to see us separate from the problem. Look at the problem as a relationship instead of intrinsic to our being. Through this, it allows for less shame and collaborative work to highlight alternative stories of strength, values, and skills that have been overshadowed by shame-based stories that simply tell us we are a failure or unlovable.
